ABOUT ME

Maria Sagrario Cordero, LA.C, is Doctor of Oriental Medicine, licensed in New Mexico and Utah. She is also a Florida Acupuncturist Physician.

She completed a Master in Health Science in Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Chinese Health and Culture Science in Oakland, California. In 1994, she trained with Dr. Michael Smith, MD, from the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association in South Bronx, New York, and received a Certification in Auricular Acupuncture Protocols to treat addictions and trauma.

She uses traditional Chinese Acupuncture styles and is a Chinese Herbal specialist. Cordero counts with extensive experience providing treatment for muscular-skeletal chronic pain, joint problems, arthritis, accident-related injuries, dermatological disorders, gynecological problems, and autoimmune diseases.

Acupuncture for Life proudly serves our regional athletes and collaborates with most community health providers to enhance patients’ wellness.

In 2009, Cordero opened Acupuncture for Life in Salt Lake City, Utah.
